Set in Ireland during the Great Famine, the drama follows an Irish Ranger who has been fighting for the British Army abroad, as he abandons his post to reunite with his family. Despite experiencing the horrors of war, he is shocked by the famines destruction of his homeland and the brutalization of his people and his family.
幸存者們發(fā)島上存在神建筑入口，杰克（馬??？怂?Matthew Fox 飾）的帶領(lǐng)下進(jìn)探索，強(qiáng)制入艙門后，現(xiàn)里面竟然人，且是杰曾經(jīng)在現(xiàn)實(shí)有過一面之的戴斯蒙德亨利·伊?庫(kù)斯科 Henry Ian Cusick 飾），如同看到救一般，戴斯德留下一串字密碼便跑了，而杰克行則需要接他的任務(wù)—每隔108分鐘輸入密碼關(guān)掉警報(bào)。艙門中，幸者們找到充食物，也由卷錄影帶了到這座孤島背景，似乎某個(gè)失敗的驗(yàn)有關(guān)。另方面，扎起筏試圖離開嶼的邁克爾哈羅·佩里 Harold Perrineau 飾）等人并有成功駛向海，而是被水帶到島的一邊，發(fā)現(xiàn)有一群機(jī)尾幸存者，他挾持著邁克等人慢慢向地靠近…?
